About Practitioner
Hi! I taught grades 3 to 6 in the Coquitlam school district from 1987 to 2017, when I retired from the classroom. I trained as an Orton-Gillingham (OG) tutor in 2016 and 2017. I'm still a BC certified teacher but all my teaching is now one-to-one OG tutoring. I love the amazing growth I see in students I tutor and the strong connections with families as I support their children toward school success. I normally take on only 1 or 2 students in a given year, allowing me to devote close attention to my student(s)and ensure they're getting the best support possible.
I'm fully vaccinated against CoVid-19 and influenza and I'm very happy to be working with students in person again.
