About Practitioner
I began my journey in literacy intervention while I worked for the North Vancouver School District as an Education Assistant from 2017-2020. This experience let me support our most complex learners in their studies. Working in special education has given me a multitude of tools and strategies to directly support students with a variety of diagnoses. I have directly supported students with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Dyslexia, and ODD. I have also provided learning support for many other students with challenges on their learning journey. Working 1:1 with students in a calm supportive environment is what fills my bucket every day. The Orton Gillingham approach gives students the tools necessary to grow their literacy skills and see themselves succeed!
As of January 2024 I do not have any spaces available for student support. Please check back in June as often students finish up with their OG support at the end of the school year. You can also email me to get on my wait list for the next 24/25 school year.
