History of English for Teachers and OG Practitioners
OG Canada presents a free seminar with Pearl Poon, OG Practitioner, about the History of English for Teachers and OG Practitioners. This seminar will highlight those events which shaped the English language. It will NOT cover the Great Vowel Shift but rather the keys points in English history which had an impact on the spelling of English words. Bring your questions and your curiosity.
Pearl Poon is the events coordinator for OG Canada. She completed her OG training in 2019, receiving full status in 2021. Since then, she continually updates her knowledge of English, including comprehension, spelling, executive functioning in a constant effort to improve her practice. She is curious and finds the linguistics fascinating.
